CEM MARS 6 MICROWAVE DIGESTION System with (2) Vessel Sets, Like New Condition
The MARS 6 is a microwave acid digestion system that produces clear digestate from samples for elemental analysis by ICP, ICP-MS, or AA. Rocks, plants, soil, foods, pharmaceuticals, plastics, metals and more can be digested easily using preloaded methods. For over 30 years lab technicians have been using MARS systems for sample preparation and with the latest updates to the MARS 6, the process even easier.
The system was purchased in 2019 and we are told that samples were never run through the system! They only ran a few condition runs of the vessels and that is it. The customer paid about $32,000 for the system to do cannabis and hemp digestions and extractions. The system includes a set of 12 iPrep vessels along with 2 boxes of disposable glass inserts, as well as a set of 16 MARSXpress Plus vessels. The only minor issue is the service message shows on the screen at the start-up of the system because CEM has it programmed to show a message after one year. The message can be clicked on and the instrument runs as usual. This is a great condition system with a great savings as compared to new!
