The Solid Evaporator rapidly heats and recovers moisture from solid and powder samples that might not dissolve or would interfere with Karl Fischer reagents if added directly to the titration cell.
A dry gas source is used as the carrier gas to transport the water vapor from the sampleto the Karl FischerTitrator where it can be quantified.
Large evaporation chamber and sample boats easily accommodate numerous samples for repetitive analyses without exposing the atmosphere.
Tapered seal sample injection port incorporates the use of a positive carrier gas flow to eliminate contamination from atmosphere moisture during sample introduction.
Operating temperature range is ambient to 300 Celsius
Uses Nitrogen as the carrier gas at 100 to 1000mL/ minute.
Easy to use features include a closed sample injection port, motor driven sample pan, automatic temperature control and automatic start when interfaced with an Aquastar Titration System.
