FM110 Flow Monitor
Flow monitors can be used in conjunction with the Multi (Extraction) Mantles EME and EMEA series.

The FM110 Flow Monitor has been carefully designed to provide increased safety in the laboratory by monitoring aqueous liquids used in heating and cooling applications and process control.
The turbine assembly is comprised of components made from chemically resistant materials such as PVDF, sapphire, ceramic and viton.
2 versions of the Flow Monitor are available, covering 2 different flow rates as follows:
• FM110 - 5 to 15 litres/min, with a fixed alarm zone between 4 to 5 litres/min
• FM110/2B - 0.7 to 5 litres/min, with a fixed alarm zone between 0.4 to 0.7 litres/min
The alarm is triggered if the flow rate drops into the alarm zone for more than 15 seconds. Once the alarm is triggered, the output from the flow monitor will switch off the extraction mantle. The flow monitor will then automatically turn the heating apparatus back on once the flow rate has re-established, if set to AUTO or can be reset manually if set to MANUAL.
A rod support clamp is provided at the rear of the controller to take a standard 12.5mm (1/2") diameter rod (Note: the support rod and stand are not supplied).
